We’re reaching out to the regions

Brakel Airvent has long had its home in Cardiff, South Wales, and a northern office in Sunderland – each providing a base for our regional sales managers, operations, engineering and projects teams. The time has come to cement our position as the UK’s leading provider of smoke control system maintenance by continuing to decentralise our offering with the aim of always being close to our clients.

This won’t mean an end for the Cardiff HQ – that will remain our base of operations for company management, finance and administration while still serving customers in Wales and the south west – but it does mean that we’ll be expanding our Sunderland team and adding smaller regional offices across the UK.

The move will enable our response times to be even keener and lines of communication for our customers to be even more direct. We want our clients to know they can have a face-to-face with someone from our team whenever they want, and that we have the right level of skilled smoke control experts in their area whenever they’re needed.

“This is all part of our growth plan,” explains Tony Barry, managing director of Brakel Airvent. “We’re pushing further into the fire and smoke damper survey and maintenance market, plus we’re expanding our UK-wide network of M&E service engineers. It all adds up to a better experience for our customers and a stronger business structure for us – whether that be in our standard scheduled service programmes or building refurbishments.”

In addition we’re growing our team – if you’re an M&E engineer looking for an incredible opportunity, get in touch!
