Airvent Service – no location too difficult

Smoke ventilation servicing at Eldon Square Shopping Centre in Newcastle, is hampered by challenging architecture; a fact that has caused many maintenance firms to shy away from undertaking such works.

Not so for Airvent, which has employed the use of a 23m spider lift to gain access to otherwise unreachable rooflight ventilators.

“As a company, Airvent doesn’t believe in saying no,” explains Charles Hurdman, UK Sales Manager. “That’s why we always look for creative solutions to real-world challenges, offering uncompromised service levels without taking our eye off our customers’ core concerns; fire safety and cost-effectiveness.”

This aspect of the servicing project involved the maintenance work on smoke casement ventilators, located at the top of six pyramid rooflights in the shopping centre.
