Airvent is a Green Achiever! (2012 Update)

We posted this news item last year and we are pleased to provide you with the following updates:

Airvent recognises it’s responsibilities for the environment and is committed to working towards minimising the environmental impacts of it’s business activities. For more information, please ask to see a copy of our Environmental Policy.

As advised in our previous news item ‘Airvent gets even greener’ all our aluminium products now utilise up to 80% recyclable aluminium (manufactured directly by our parent company The Brakel Group). We are working harder as a group to achieve even higher results for 2012.

We have also introduced a new ‘cycle to work’ scheme which our employees are fully embracing. Over 10% of Airvent staff have now signed up to the cycle to work scheme and are using their bikes to cycle to Airvent offices and also local work meetings.

Further to this, we are in the process of developing Airvent’s new Eco-V (Ventilator) – green energy saving natural smoke ventilator which is due later this year. The Eco-V (Ventilator) is now undergoing final testing and should be available shortly and once launched, will set the standard for Green Natural Smoke Ventilators.
